-Name & Number:
Imp Priss #3
Some friends said I
reminded them of an IMP (a fairy like creature
that does evil things; also known to come from
hell), I tried to go with something that had Cyn
in it, but Imp stuck so I went with it, and now I
wouldn’t be called anything different. 3 has
always been my favorite number. All good things
come in three's and come to find out after a few
years of derby, it was my Dads jersey number too.

-Best Derby Moment:
On Track:
I got
elbowed in the face, the refs didn't call it, so I
got her back with a LEGAL hit. The crowd went
nuts, just so happened its one of the Bouts some
of my family was at. They wouldn't stop talking
about it. Another one was scoring 20 points in one
jam, but a lot of people didn't celebrate that one
so much, but it was an accomplishment for me.
Off Track: Rollercon
2010, legitimized my 2 year marriage to D'mon.
Visited Vegas for the first time for Roller Derby
not Gambling. Going to a Blood & Thunder Camp with
my wife, where I can say I had a life changing
experience thanks to the coaches, B & T, and D'mon.
-Do you have an
existence outside of Derby:
Derby is wrapped and weaved into everything I do,
somehow it finds a way to tie into every aspect of
my life. I do have a full time job and I'm a full
time student. I am also in the Air Force Reserves.
-Why did you join
Derby: I was drawn to it. The only reason I can
think of is to be an athlete, I guess, but it was
much more than that. I had to do it.
-Favorite Song/Music
that puts you in the Zone: I don’t really get in
the zone with music.
-Day Job: Sorry,
Classified.
-Hobbies:
Besides skating, occasional reading, watching
movies, and catching up on sleep.
-Quote:
I love Mark Twain and his witty Quotes. Here are
several:
~ "Twenty years from now, you will be more
disappointed by the things that you didn't do than
by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade
winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
~ "Keep away from people who try to belittle your
ambitions. Small people always do that, but the
really great make you feel that you, too, can
become great."
~ "Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the
vessel in which it is stored than to anything on
which it is poured."
~ "Be careless in
your dress if you will, but keep a tidy soul." |
